The Hairloss Begins

On Thursday Meredith's hair started falling out. She has an appointment to get it cut short on Monday. We knew this would be coming, but it has been hard. Once again I find myself unable to help, only able to comfort. My mom is planning a hat and scarf party, but she and Meredith's mom hopped right in and got her started. Here is a new cute one that I love on her.

Hi Meredith,
Our family has been following your blog and praying for you. I read your latest post about your hair and Elissa wanted me to tell you that she is sorry that your hair is falling out. And she would like to know if you are going to get a wig along with all your hats? If there is a hat party, we would love to come and bring you one! With our love,
Heather and family

Mer, I have to tell you what Tom said when I showed him your blog entry with your hair in hand..."Oh, but she's got such a cute face and the sweetest personality and upbeat spirit about her--that's what people notice about her most--not her hair."

By the way, LOVE THE HAT!! Too cute!!

Love you!
Lor

That hat is awesome.

Plus when your hair grows back out you can do dreadlocks and store them in there.

Hey Meredith!

Wow! What a big step of faith this must require. I'll pray that you would have the grace to make that big leap.
But again, the Lord does promise that He will never leave you or forsake. And I guess that includes when you start losing hair or when battling nausea or even when things do seem to be going well.
Know, Meredith, that you are constantly in my prayers and my thoughts.

I love you!

Nehemiah 8:10 - "Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."
